Background
Khao Yai National Park, some 2 hours northeast of Bangkok consists of moist evergreen forest, mixed deciduous forest, and dry evergreen forest. With some 2,000-2,500 plant species, over 350 bird species, and large mammals including elephants, white handed gibbon, gaur, Asiatic black bear and wild dog, Khao Yai is a natural choice for a wildlife adventure.
Itinerary
Depart your Bangkok hotel at 0600 for the 2-hour transfer to Khao Yai. After a short familiarization with your naturalist guide drive to the Headquarter in the national park..After short briefing head out on a nature walk for the rest of the day through the lush evergreen forest that dominates the central regions of Khao Yai national park.Head out of the trekking track for a drive to Haew Suwat waterfall to have your lunch in a traditional Thai restaurant.After lunch head to the Khao Kheaw View point where often the Asiatic black bears are seen.Exit the forest around 16.30pm .for the transfer back to your Bangkok hotel
