"First, a very special thanks to John who was extremely professional in his organization of our trip. As well, an equally special thanks to Nuch, who was a fantastic guide. Her knowledge of wildlife and nature (including habits and calls) is unsurpassed and she made sure that we enjoyed the birds as long as we wanted. She also was most indulgent when we pursued our entomological and botanical interests.
We spent a short but absolutely fabulous 5 days and 4 nights in Khao Yai and Doi Inthanon National Parks. We saw over 150 species, and traveled between the two parks. We also saw a fabulous array of mammals including a Marbled Cat and her kitten.

"I had a wonderful 3 days. I saw some wonderful things: 70 bird species, gibbons (close up), bats, wild dogs, deer, waterfalls, fig and cinnamon trees and the jungle to name a few. Of course, one could say we didn’t see elephants and tigers, but that didn’t seem to matter as the whole trip was one of natural beauty. John was extremely professional and informative. In addition, Mr. A was a delight and without him I would have spotted maybe ten species as my eyes are old while his are young and knowledgeable. He spotted birds and animals extremely quick. Well done indeed. He was an entertaining companion.
The driver was excellent.
Timekeeping was also excellent (6 am every morning) and there were no grumbles that we didn’t finish dinner until after nine at night. Restaurants, while basic, served good food, particularly as I love Thai food. Lunches in the park were also good.

"We went on a two day nature trip with Khun Daw. We saw an amazing array of wildlife and nature. We enjoyed every minute of the day. The food prepared by Mr. Smith in the jungle was amazing.The overnight camping was a blast. We saw gibbons, macaques, and an Asian black bear. When we return to Thailand we will deifinately book with Wldwatch again."

The most shocking part of the trip was being chased by the elephants, we are really sorry once again for that. It was our fault that we went so close to the elephants. Also thanks to the field staff. They were friendly and nice. Also thanks for the special gift and the pictures on a CD."

My apologies for this rather late note of thanks. Life has been hectic since we arrived back to Brazil. I have just recorded the species we saw onto my computer and it brought back fond memories of a great trip. On behalf of Letecia and I, we would like to pass on our thanks and appreciation to the Wildwatch team. From the first contact to the last we have nothing but high praise´s for your company. The arrangements for the trip were clear and precise and handled most efficiently by yourself and your staff. Your staff was always punctual, polite and fun. Their knowledge of the National Park was impressive as were their birding skills. Nothing was never too much trouble and they always worked hard all day to make sure we saw as many birds as possible. Although we all arrived back at the hotel feeling exhausted after 13 hours we shall remember this trip for a long time to come.
A good friend of mine is planning an extended visit to Thailand next year and I will give him your details and anticipate that he will contact you to arrange some guided trips. My wife and I are planning a much longer stay in Thailand for 2010 and will contact you for further trips."

"This trip was great. We never imagined that Khao Yai would be such an interesting place for hiking and Wildlife watching. This was the first time in our life we saw a huge bear 40 metres away from us as we were crossing the stream. We were afraid of being harmed by the bear but thanks to your guide who was experienced, moved us away safely.
We had the best time of our life.The food prepared in the forest was delicious and we plan to get back to Thailand once again for more adventurous trips with Wildwatch.

"Wow, Wow, Wow!!!! We dont know what other words to say. This was the most amazing adventure holiday we hav ever had in our lives. Our children were so thrilled they had the opportunity to actually ride a real elephant alongside the river and we were all amazed with the millions of bats flying out of the cave. The night safari was alot of fun also. The meals prepared by your staff in the jungle were truly delicious. We also really enjoyed the boating trip. Thank you John for explaining things to us in Spanish and providing us with a Spanish speaking guide. "This was our second trip with Wildwatch to the region in an attempt to fill in the holes in our list. Last year we went to the Northern part and recorded about 300 species of birds.This year in Samut Sakhorn and Kaeng Krachan we were fortunate to see the Spoon Billed Sandpiper and other delights. Thank you John and crew. This trip we recorded 176 species in a 3 day trip. Some of them were repeatedly seen but most of them were new for us. We took plenty of pictures. "My husband and I are keen bird watchers and we are back in our country after having a fine birding holiday between February 27th and March 13th, 2009 in Thailand. Initially, we were hesitant to go on a birding adventure in Thailand. However, after going through some trip reports we decided to book a tour with Wildwatch Thailand. We had the most memorable birding trip of our life. We saw 393 birds in our trip.
We reached the Bangkok airport on February 26th, and on Feb 27th we started our trip at 6:00 am with Mr. Nit. He was superb. He is full of knowledge and experience.The most interesting part of our trip was finding the Gurney´s Pitta. We spent more than one and a half days in the national park with Nit and his assistant finding the said bird and at last we saw the Gurney´s Pitta. We are really thankful to Nit for his hard work and also very thankful to John and the Wildwatch team for arranging such a wonderful and memorable birding trip. We will be contacting you next year
to book another trip and have recommended you to all the
members of our bird watching group. Cheers..."

"My trip to Thailand was never meant to be a birding trip but I booked a few days with WildwatchThailand to satisfy my birding curiosity. John very helpfully re-organized my trip at the last minute since I had to change the original itinerary. It was no problem to him. I was delighted to have Orn´s excellent mentoring which is essential when you are looking at small forest birds in all colors of the rainbow! Orn is quiet, patient and generous with her knowledge. A day spent at Samut Sakhorn yielded the endangered Spoonbill Sandpiper. Orn picked it up sleeping with the bill hidden...she noticed just a slight difference in the color and the supercillium.
At Khao Yai amongst other birds we saw three different Hornbill species and the beautiful Orange-Breasted Trogon. I´ll be dreaming about these gorgeous birds for weeks to come!
I can´t recommend your organization highly enough and I can´t wait to come back. Thank you!"
